2008 NBBQ National Convention E-mail
February 20-23, 2008: We attended the National Barbecue Association National Convention in Austin, Texas.  Gourmet Smokin' Chips™ were a big hit and everyone is looking forward to the next National Convention!

In 2007, Charlie Faulds teamed up with fellow owners Kirk Lacy and Billy Caldwell.  The team went to work on perfecting the pressure injection process and fine-tuned the fluid recipe.

In January of 2008, owners of Gourmet Smokin' Chips™, Inc. file the appropriate paperwork to become a Texas Corporation.
 
Gourmet Smokin Chips™, Inc. Files for U.S. Patent E-mail
In December of 2006, Charlie Faulds, the inventor of the unique process used to inject the spicy recipe into Gourmet Smokin' Chips™, filed for a patent with the US Patent and Trademark Office.
